 Tuatara facts:
Boy Tuatara have bigger spikes on their backs than girls.
You don't know if a Tuatara is a boy or a girl until it is about 30 years old.
They can live for 200-250 years.
There are Brothers Island Tuataras and Cook Strait Tuataras.
Tuataras have been around since the early Jurassic period.
They are only found in NZ. Tuatara means 'Living Fossil'

These photos were taken in the weekend before the kids started school. Unforetunately the weather hasn't been as great for their first few days of school. It seems to like to rain just on pick up time!
